It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is definitely one of my favorite seasons to celebrate. There’s just something about hearing Christmas songs, seeing lights everywhere, and knowing that my family will be complete that warms my heart. Christmas this year is sure to be extra special for me. Because my husband and I are expecting our first baby! And with cases slowly decreasing, more and more people are starting to feel the Christmas spirit as well. So it’s very timely that Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds is now open for people to enjoy al fresco dining and more.
Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds is located within the Crosswinds Tagaytay estate. For those who aren’t familiar, Crosswinds Tagaytay is a 100-hectare, Swiss-inspired community. The estate also boasts over 35,000 pine trees that lend their invigorating scent to the entire development. Additionally, it’s full of quaint chalets that offer a first-class experience. It’s no wonder people love coming here to enjoy the cool weather and view.
Within the estate is Lausanne at Crosswinds, a 24-hectare area that features a breathtaking panorama of Tagaytay’s lush hills. With the pandemic making more Filipinos realize how important nature is, a lot are investing in these properties. This is so that once in a while, they can get away from the busy city and enjoy the peace and quiet of Crosswinds Tagaytay.
Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds’ Al Fresco Dining Experience
Aside from the view and cool breeze, Filipinos can enjoy dining al fresco at Napa at Crosswinds, Ruined Project, and Cafe Voila. Recently, Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds also opened. It’s the latest cafe that coffee lovers and foodies will truly enjoy. When I first saw pictures of Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds, I was immediately reminded of my trip to Solvang, California in 2017! Solvang’s inspiration is Switzerland, which Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds captures as well.
It’s full of tall pine trees and gives a rustic feel that invokes giddiness and nostalgia. Additionally, every corner is Instagram-worthy—with colorful lights that brighten up the whole place every night. And if you’re a pet parent like me, great news! They allow pets on the premises! Moreover, it’s full of ramps, which makes it ideal for senior citizens.
A Beautiful Place to Celebrate the Holidays
If I wasn’t giving birth this December, I would have loved to drive over to Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds with my husband. It would be so nice to experience the place firsthand. But maybe once I’ve adjusted to my new role as a mom, and our baby is big enough to take trips, we can enjoy a family vacation in Tagaytay! The first thing we can do is check it out.
For now, if you’re looking for a unique place to celebrate Christmas or New Year, why not check out Windmill at Lausanne Crosswinds? It’s definitely a place the whole family will love.
