Whether It’s Vacation or Staycation
With the peak of the summer season hitting the streets of Metro Manila, almost everyone I know is headed for the beach away from the busy city or to a different island like Boracay to enjoy the remaining days of their vacation. Unfortunately for those of us who either needed to or decided to enroll in summer class, we don’t get the same luxury and our vacation is limited to the weekends — pretty much like regular school. That doesn’t mean that we can’t dress up as fresh and as sprightly as those who are on the beach. I even overheard one student say that girls and boys around the campus are dressing up like they’re going to Boracay.
Case in point this Fashionista, who was seen strolling around in a pair of white shorts and the most striking aqua top while downplayed with a pair of baby pink ballet flats. The animal print shoulder bag was definitely a cute touch, too. The blouse is loose, almost like a boyfriend shirt, which is perfect considering how fever high the temperature has gotten the past few weeks. The color is certainly a trend this spring and summer 2012 as well, and looks good on just about anyone.
If you’re stuck in the city like me, don’t feel too bad about those who get to go out of town. You can still have your own “staycation” while sipping on cold drinks and strolling around the mall dressed up in style!
