Christmas Belen: Where We Bought Our Home’s Nativity Set
Hi, everyone! My name is Gretchen Gatan and I’m a writer and editor based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. I’m also a millennial wife and first-time mom. If you’re new here, welcome to Greta’s Junkyard—a dumpsite of my favorite things! I started this lifestyle blog in 2013 where you’ll find many articles on beauty, travel, home, and more. Recently, I posted a photo on my Instagram of our Christmas Belen and a lot of people messaged to ask where I got it!
The Fraggy Home’s Christmas Belen
It’s our second year in our forever home here in Quezon City, which I like to call the #FraggyHome (because our last name is Fragada). During our first year of marriage, my husband Cayo and I lived in a studio unit in Legaspi Village, Makati together with our fur babies, Booboo and Bellatrix. The condominium was near our offices and it was convenient at that time since we saved on gas, parking fees, and time.
Because our space was limited in the studio unit, we couldn’t set up a Christmas tree. So our only decoration was the cutest Christmas Belen, which I bought from S&R in 2019. Since then, I would display it every Christmas season!
Where to Buy a Similar-Looking Belen
I’m not sure if S&R still sells this Nativity Set. After all, it’s been three years. However, I discovered that Papemelroti has similar-looking ones—like the Bethlehem Nativity Set.
They also have the Blessings Holy Family and the Belen in a Box!

These are equally adorable and if the #FraggyHome didn’t have a Nativity Set yet, I would definitely order online from Papemelroti.
Other Cute Items from Papemelroti
Other cute items I ordered from Papemelroti were a personalized Christmas tree ornament and a square magnet for our refrigerator. These are both from their You, Me, and Family Collection.
I’m a big fan of the brand, which is why I ordered my Christmas gifts from them as well. It’s part of my tradition of supporting local businesses. Feel free to explore their website because there are so many nice, practical items you can get for yourself or your loved ones.
I hope my article helps you find your very own Christmas Belen! If you have any questions, feel free to comment or send me a direct message on Instagram at @gretchengatan.
