Where to Order Custom Faux Nails: CLAWED by Ming
I can still remember the exact moment I became obsessed with nail polish as a little girl. It was after watching The Parent Trap (starring Lindsay Lohan) and seeing Hallie Parker constantly wearing blue nail polish. So during one trip to the mall, I asked my mom if she could also buy me blue nail polish! But because of my school’s rules (hello to my fellow Povedans!), which didn’t allow students to wear nail polish, I could only wear it on weekends. That was around the same time I discovered the wonders of faux nails. One of my aunts gifted me with a few sets, and I’d always wear them for fun. I’d use double-sided tape to stick them on so that it was safe and easy to remove.
It was in the 3rd or 4th grade when I started wearing nail polish less and less. That was the time I entered softball and became a competitive athlete until college. Having long nails was a no-no, and wearing nail polish felt useless. It would always end up destroyed after every practice or game. The same thing happened when I started playing ultimate frisbee from high school up until recently, so wearing nail polish or faux nails were something I almost forgot.
Until my good friend, and one of my OG work Babies, Ming, started her business: CLAWED by Ming!

How to Order Faux Nails from CLAWED by Ming
Ordering a custom set is really easy. Aside from looking through pegs on Pinterest, Ming asked me to measure my nails using scotch tape, a permanent marker, and measuring tape. As for the shape and length, I initially wanted to try coffin in long. But because Ming knew my personality and the type of things I liked, she recommended that I do oval in medium first. And I’m so happy I listened because the nails turned out to be even prettier!
I had so much fun shooting content while wearing my faux nails. My order, which was P300, came with a nail file, pusher, and glue. To prolong the life of my custom nails, I used scotch tape to reapply them a second time (since the glue tends to make the nails thicker after reapplying).
