Virginia Olsen Minerals: The Naturally Fun Stuff
It’s been a while since my last make-up review! I’ve been so busy with work and my freelance gigs lately that I haven’t found the time to try new products and write about them. Thankfully, I was blessed with a free night tonight so I’ve decided to write about a package I recently received from Virginia Olsen Minerals. Imagine my excitement! Mineral make-up has been quite the alternative to conventional make-up, especially for those with sensitive and acne-prone skin. I use mineral make-up, particularly my liquid foundation—because I need something light, natural, and that won’t clog my pores.
Imported from the United States, Virginia Olsen Minerals is 100% natural, paraben-free, bismuth and talc-free, and purely mineral make-up. I tried researching more on their brand, and read that even the sheerest of applications goes on smooth, creamy, and consistent. It doesn’t clump or fade either.
This was definitely true when I tried all four hues they sent. It felt so smooth and light on my skin.

I love the colors, too. These four suit me really well—I can already imagine the occasions I can wear them to. Innocence and Champagne can be for everyday wear, day parties, and Sunday lunch with the family since the shades are simple and earth-toned. Gun Metal and Grape Vine are definitely fit for the smokey-eyes look, and are both suitable for evening wear.
