The Old Spaghetti House Katipunan Gets a Makeover!
Back when I was still studying, I used to visit the Old Spaghetti House Katipunan a lot—especially during lunch breaks and I was craving for pesto pasta. The prices were friendly enough for students, and the crowd usually wasn’t as noisy compared to other restaurants in the vicinity. Those days, I remember the restaurant being dimly lit with vintage-looking furniture and an overall old-school feel.
However, just recently, the restaurant underwent a renovation and changed their entire look including their logo.

Apart from the new look, the Old Spaghetti House Katipunan also has new items on their menu!
Chicken Florentine with Spaghetti Alfredo (Php 245)
Chili Con Carne Pasta (Php 185)
Grilled Chicken and Lime Cilantro Pasta (Php 180)
Seafood Pasta (Php 315)
Beef, Potatoes and Gravy Pizza (Php 315)
Pinoy Pizza (Php 315)
Ham and Cheese Croquette (Php 145)
Of the four pizzas I was able to try, I really enjoyed the Pinoy Pizza—the saltiness was just right, all thanks to the fish and salted egg toppings. (Also, I’m biased when it comes to anything that has salted egg.) I liked the Seafood Pizza as well—it was complete with squid and mussels.
Among the pastas, Chili Con Carne was my favorite. It had that unique Sloppy Joe flavor. The Grilled Chicken and Lime Cilantro pasta, despite the strong flavor of the cilantro, was something I liked as well. I think it’s one of the healthiest dishes in the new menu.
The highlight in the new The Old Spaghetti House Katipunan, of course, is their TOSH Pantry. And if you’re a huge dessert person like me, this would most definitely be your favorite spot in the restaurant.
