Last month, a colleague linked us to a Facebook fan page that was slowly becoming the talk of town. I instantly got curious because I was told the page gained 100,000 likes in less than a month! This was the Team Kramer page, managed by former Blue Eagle and now PBA player, Doug Kramer, and his beautiful wife/model/actress, Cheska Garcia-Kramer.

The funny thing about me is that when it comes to showbiz and entertainment, I’m very outdated. I usually just keep up with stuff I read online. But I rarely watch TV or read news, so I’m not really knowledgeable when it comes to both local and foreign celebrities. (Unless I’ve seen them from a TV show or movie, get obsessed about them, then start stalking them. Case in point: Tom Felton/Draco Malfoy)
So back to #TeamKramer. Curiosity got the best of me, so I liked the page. And I ended up scrolling down to the very first post.
Now, I’m obsessed with them. In fact, every morning, the first thing I do as soon as I enter the Cupcake’s car on our way to work is to check the Team Kramer fan page to see if there are any new posts. I especially get giddy when there’s a video on my favorite Kramer: #ScarlettDoll.
Seeing posts about the Kramer kids uplift me. They take away the bad vibes, especially when traffic along EDSA is horrible. I can just replay videos of #ScarlettDoll laughing, or #KendraSuperstar doing a song-and-dance number or a #TagalogTime episode, or #GavIncredible just being the adorable baby that he is.
To give a little more background on Team Kramer, it’s basically a page that shows you the everyday things that the Kramers do. Much like Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but Team Kramer is a lot cuter. There’s Kendra, the eldest. She loves to sing and dance, and can be very showbiz—hence the hashtag #KendraSuperstar. She’s followed by Scarlett, sometimes known as Scarlita because she can be very maldita. Then of course, there’s the little prince, Gavin, who has yet to show his personality. You’ll often see him just babbling or crawling around—although I do love seeing pictures of him smiling.
Most of the posts feature the Kramers’ playroom. My favorite videos include Kendra crying because she wanted to join her mom and dad’s date—where she tried to convince her dad that she was a big girl and could drink wine and beer, and Scarlett pretending to sleep when her mom was trying to reprimand her.
It’s extremely adorable! Even if I’ve never even met any of them, I feel like I’m so close to each one already. I love seeing the Kramer kids! And I probably sound like such a creepy person writing about them—but they make me smile, especially on gloomy days. And I hope that their fluffy faces make you smile, too.
