The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Losing Weight: My Contours Experience

This article has been on my drafts for quite some time now, and I feel so bad that I wasn’t able to post it sooner. But just to explain—I was supposed to have four sessions with Contours last March, but because I’ve been so busy and Megamall isn’t really a place I frequent, I haven’t been able to attend my other three sessions even though I really wanted to. I thought I could, so I kept prolonging this article hoping that I could compare before and after photos of my experience at Contours.

So anyway, since I was only able to visit them once, I’ll just write about what happened during that session and why doing several sessions with Contours could be the lazy girl’s guide to losing a few inches off.

What I did was the LaserFit, which is a holistic approach to weight loss and body contouring because it combines a non-invasive full body cold laser exposure to melt fats, a 10-minute interval training to burn the melted fats, and added nutritional recommendations and diet guide that leads to a very integrated lifestyle. Before the procedure, I was asked to wear this special robe. The facilitator then took note of my height, weight, and body measurements. I couldn’t remember my exact weight at that time, but I think I was at around 104 lbs. (I’m 5’3) and my bust, waist, and hips were 32, 25, and 35 respectively.

The laser session took about 40 minutes. 20 minutes where I had to lie on my back, and another 20 where I was on my stomach.

After the laser session, I was asked to transfer to the mini gym where I did a few exercises for 10 minutes to burn the fats that were just melted by the laser.

I didn’t see immediate results, of course. But I’m positive that had I continued my sessions, I would have at least lost an inch off my waistline. I also like that this procedure is non-invasive, yet is proven to give effective results.
