The Beginning of 5 Randoms!
Hi, everybody! Hope you’re all doing great. I know May was a bit of a quiet month for the blog, because I hardly updated it. But not too worry! I’ve tried to kick things off this June with more videos on my YouTube channel (or my Facebook page, whichever you visit more frequently). Thank you to everyone who has watched and commented, and I promise that you’ll be seeing more videos from me!
Another thing I’d like to start on a monthly basis is this segment called 5 randoms! You can ask me anything under the sun OR I can share 5 super duper random things about me.
So for this first post, let me just share 5 things that I probably haven’t shared on the blog yet.
1. I only eat plain Double Cheeseburgers from McDonald’s.
By plain, meaning it’s literally just the patties and cheese. Nothing else. The Cupcake is very particular about this whenever we drive through McDonald’s after work—like he’ll remind the person taking our orders twice or thrice to make them plain, otherwise I get so bummed.
2. I tend to memorize the strangest things.
I memorize a lot of plate numbers. There was a time I used to know all of my Ultimate teammates’ plate numbers, and whenever I’d see their cars on the road, I’d text them, “Hey! I see your car!” I also memorize my bank account number, my Globe account number, and my credit cards. It’s weird.
3. I count a lot in my head when I’m doing something, and it has to end on a particular number.
When I’m rubbing my hands together while washing them, when I change the volume on the radio or TV, when I manually edit posts on Instagram—the number always has to end in 3’s, 5’s, or 0’s.
4. I hate having long nails.
I love keeping them short and clean, because I hate the feeling of typing on my laptop with long nails. But what sucks about short nails is the nail polish doesn’t look as good, compared to when your nails are long. Haha!
5. My family jokingly has this theory that the reason my nose became “matangos” was because when I was in grade school, I was trying to do tricks on my bicycle and I fell pretty bad.
I hit my face first and all. I was knocked out, and I think I was even brought to the hospital. I don’t remember much, save for the stories that my siblings used to tell me from their points of view. But my face was a mess—I had black eyes, bruises, and scratches. But after that fall, my nose suddenly grew a bridge, and to this day we all think it was because of that accident! Haha.
So those are just 5 super random things, and I hope you guys enjoyed reading!
