Aside from the awards, Preview Magazine also highlighted its #IMAPreviewGirl campaign, which was introduced in their September 2013 issue featuring “It” girl, Georgina Wilson as she was transformed into four different personas. Using the hasthag, netizens are able to express their various interpretations on what it means to be a Preview girl. Because of this, the Preview Editorial Team invited a few of their director friends to create short films of what #IMAPreviewGirl means to them and presented these throughout the evening:
In Defense of Fashion, starring Preview Editor-in-Chief: Pauline Suaco-Juan.
I really love how this was done. I’ve always admired Pauline Suaco-Juan and what she does for Preview Magazine.
This just made me fall in love with her even more.
Hide and Seek, created by Fashion Filmmaker Nominee, Samantha Lee.
I think this was a really great interpretation.
Fabulous Forever by Joel Limchoc
For the Love of Labels featuring Ruffa Mae Quinto, presented by Ian Galsim.
This comical concept was my favorite!
and
How Not to Instagram by Joel Limchoc, which I think gave almost everyone at Club Haze a heart attack (me included!)
