When in Manila, the Old Spaghetti House boasts its new line of desserts which caters to both Speculoos addicts and sweet tooths (like myself). And so with some of my favorite people last Friday, pigging out in the Old Spaghetti House Libis was definitely a good way to start the long weekend.

My friends and I were able to try some of their famous appetizers like the Carbonara Wrap (the flavor melts in your mouth), Risotto Balls (I especially loved the sauce), and Fried Mozzarella Sticks.

The Old Spaghetti House is known for its comforting pastas and mouth-watering pizzas. But aside from these signature dishes, they also offer delectable rice plates like the best-selling Grilled Chicken Jambalaya, Mushroom Jack Chicken, American Baked Spareribs, and US Beef Salpicao.

I’m a huge dessert person, and I love going to the Old Spaghetti House for their desserts–particularly for their Chewy Brownie ala Mode, and the Colossal Choco-Chip Cookie ala Mode. With the ongoing Speculoos craze, the list of desserts presents three additions to their already impressive menu: Cookie Butter Pie, Cookie Butter Mango Crepe, and Cookie Butter Smoothie. My favorite of the three has to be the Cookie Butter Mango Crepe.

Whether you’re craving for creamy pasta (like Mylene’s Creamy Pinoy Pasta with Garlic Longganisa), cheese-loaded pizza (their 5-Cheese Pizza is my favorite), or simply desserts, the Old Spaghetti House offers a very homey ambiance and some of the most delightful yet affordable comfort food.
