A Review on Avon’s Anew Vitale Day and Night Cream
This is my first ever full review of a product, and it was first and foremost given to me by Avon and Glamourbox, when they partnered up to give Glambabes the Special Edition Box last July. The Special Edition Box was full of Avon’s newest collection of bold and vibrant colors—like a set of purple eyeshadows and hot pink lipstick!
The Special Edition Box from Glamourbox and Avon
Included in the box was the Avon Anew Vitale Day Cream. On the other hand, the Avon Anew Vitale Night Cream, I got from the Glamourbox Personal Makeup Workshop (in partnership with Avon) with celebrity makeup artist, Au Mauricio.
If you’ve read my past posts about skin care, I’m very hesitant to try new products on my face because I have extremely sensitive skin. One wrong product can cause me to breakout badly! But as I opened the boxes of both creams, and found these adorable pink glass jars, I wondered to myself if maybe it was worth a try.
A Review on Avon’s Anew Vitale Day and Night Cream
Incidentally, I was already researching on anti-aging products that women in their early 20’s can use. See, as an ultimate frisbee player who plays every week under the sun, I always have this fear that consistent exposure can perpetually damage my skin—which explains why I apply and reapply sunblock a lot. It just so happened, upon reading about Avon Anew Vitale Day and Night Cream, that it was designed exactly for women in their early 20’s—to prevent skin from getting damaged by all the harmful rays, pollution, etc.
I’ve been using the Avon Vitale Day and Night Cream for about 6 weeks now. And I’ve noticed significant changes during the 4th week. My skin appeared healthier and rosier. It helped my pores get smaller as well. (Rookie mistake of this review: I wasn’t able to take a before and after shot of my face to see the difference.) I really love that it comes in such a cute package because it makes me eager to apply it every day and every night. The only iffy thing about it is that it has a strong floral scent that triggered my allergies (rhinitis). However, my nose was able to adjust eventually.
A Review on Avon’s Anew Vitale Day and Night Cream
If you have oily skin like me, Avon Anew Vitale Day Cream can cause you to be shiny. But because it contains SPF 25 (the consistency is similar to sunblock), I let it slide. I just use oil blotters to get rid of the shininess when I get to the office.
In the six weeks that I’ve been using Avon Anew Vitale Day and Night Cream, I haven’t experienced any breakouts yet. And I think that’s a good sign for someone with really sensitive skin. However, things like these vary. What works for me might not always work for others, and what works for others might not always work on me. Sometimes, you really have to experiment.
Avon Anew Vitale Day and Night creams are available for only Php 399, which is incredibly budget-friendly as compared to most anti-aging creams. Hopefully this really helps prevent early signs of skin aging, especially since another disc tournament is coming up this weekend!

Hi, Gretchen! I know you did this review in September, but you might want to try Avon’s Skinvincible. It is SPF 50 and fragrance free. I’m glad you liked the Vitale.

Hi, Megan! Oh, wow. That sounds awesome. Is it available in the Philippines? 🙂

Hi Gretchen!
I was wondering, did this cream made your face breakout?I loved the texture, the aroma and how it made my face so soft, but now I have a lot of small pimples and my face seems oily all the time.
My face has always been extremely oily, but never like this. I know it is now diet, but I am disappointed because I really wanted to give Avon a try.
Thank you!

Hi, Jerusha! Appreciate you reading the article and sharing your insights. Unfortunately, the day cream did make me a little oilier. But I controlled this with the help of a pressed powder and oil blotters. However, I didn’t break out. So if you think it’s making you break out, it might not be the best cream for you to use. 🙁 I suggest you try another brand. One cream that’s working wonders for me is Burt’s Bees Radiance Cream. 🙂 Hope this helps you!

I got a sample of the Avon Anew Vitale. Its to replace a couple of lines Avon had. The Skinvincible is amazing with antioxidants and SPF! Paired with the Anew Vitals wash and night cream. I am a National Avon rep. If you have any question let me know! Love the article Gretchan!
