Preview Magazine Unveils the PEFTA 2013 Shortlist

Manila’s most fashion-forward gathered at SM Aura last Wednesday, September 18, to witness the unveiling of the shortlist for this year’s Preview Emerging Fashion Talent Awards. Ten of the most promising designers showcased six of their works, all of which depicted the art of movement.

Sexy and Chic

Five of these designers come from Preview Magazine’s partner schools: Slim’s, School of Fashion and the Arts, and Fashion Institute of the Philippines.

Of the ten collections, Geoffrey Zordilla’s caught my eye as it played with various tints and shades to portray the flow of the ocean. His dresses were simple yet sophisticated, and the details were remarkable.

I especially liked this one dress he created, as it reminded me of my graduation ball dress. I could only hope my dress then looked just as beautiful.
