Last August 3 was my first time working out since I gave birth seven months ago. As someone who grew up an athlete and is used to being active, I felt so invigorated. I also finally had the chance to try pilates at Onelife Studio in Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons. They had several stations and equipment that seemed intimidating. But if you’re familiar with yoga and similar workouts, the movements will feel natural. Each station had a coach to oversee, help, and encourage us. And though we were technically a small group of women working out, it felt more like a one-on-one session — which I really liked. My leg and core muscles endured such a solid burn, and it felt so good.
Onelife Studio x Cetaphil
Before the session, Cetaphil introduced its newest product — the Ultra Protect Antimicrobial Cleansing Bar. It has a patented 3D DERMA-MIMIC™ Technology that provides intense hydration and moisturization while cleansing and protecting sensitive skin. Tanya Aguila, founder and girl boss of Onelife Studio, welcomed everyone and gave a quick speech. Afterward, the one-hour pilates session started.
In terms of difficulty, I think it was easy enough for beginners as well as those who haven’t exercised in a while. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I hope I can go back again one of these days. I think it’s because the session felt so personalized. And the coaches motivated me and took good care of me. If you want to know more about Onelife Studio, you can visit their website.
They have so many programs available that you can do either at the studio or in the comforts of your home. They even have a Mommy-To-Be Program that includes both pre-natal workout sessions and classes with a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.
If you’re already a member, you can get a free sample of Cetaphil’s Ultra Protect Antimicrobial Cleansing Bar after your pilates session (until supplies last). So be sure to ask your coach about it!
