Nail&Co: Luxury Nail Spa in BGC
Last Thursday was an exciting afternoon for me and my colleagues, Jess and Colette, as we were invited to cover Nail&Co—a sophisticated nail spa in BGC with plush couches, pink and black pillows, classy interiors, a variety of nail polishes, and the most soothing ambience. Located on the second floor of Kensington Place along 1st Avenue cor. 29th Street in Crescent Park, Burgos Circle, the chic and charming spa, which was opened last April 2013 by tandem and sisters-in-law Vicky Tensuan and Charlotte Urieta—can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time.

Iced tea was given while we were getting our treatments.
As someone who enjoys getting pampered every once in a while (and I think it’s pretty evident in the last article I wrote here), I’m quite particular about the services I get and what’s included. I’m usually a foot spa and pedicure person, since getting my hands done would be a waste especially since I play disc at least twice a week. (I tried getting a manicure a couple of times, then played disc a few days later, and it just ruined my nails.)
This is the first spa I encountered that offers digital magazines.
What’s great about Nail&Co is that they’re not just your average nail salon that offers typical foot spas, manicures and pedicures.
Don’t mind the wounds. Hehe.
For those in a hurry or need just a quick pampering fix, they have Speedy Chic (Php200 for hands and Php260 for feet), which cleans, files, and paints your nails. You get a 5-minute massage as well.
They have Homme Improvement for men (Php200 for hands, Php280 for feet, Php460 for an additional foot spa) and Paraffin Treatment (Php750 for hands and Php880 for feet) for those that need a little bit more TLC.
For little girls who love copying their mommies, there’s Bambina Amore (Php160 for hands and Php190 for feet) which includes soaking, a light scrub, a light massage, cleaning, and of course, their choice of nail polish and/or nail art. For the scrub and lotion, they can choose from two favorite little girl scents: Apple Strawberry or Bubblegum.
A few months ago, I discovered the wonders of gel polish and I was more than thrilled that Nail&Co offered The Long Haul—a manicure or pedicure using gel polish for only Php600 (hands) and Php700 (feet). They also have a packages such as the 1+1 Package, where two friends can get gel manicures for only Php1000, and The Long Haul Package, which is both manicure and pedicure with gel polish for only Php1100.
What sets Nail&Co aside is their additional treats, such as a Spot Massage for 20 minutes, and Spa Party Packages—which they are most known for. In fact, their weekends are always fully booked because of spa parties. These packages include an exclusive set menu catered by Prime 101 Restaurant. It’s actually the first time I’ve heard of a spa that’s partnered with restaurants, and have food available during spa parties. Of course, if mommies and yuppies get spa parties, even little girls have their own Bambina Spa Party for only Php6,700.
This February, Nail&Co will be offering a Valentine’s Day promo which will run for the entire month called Perfect Match. Perfect Match includes a foot spa with pedicure for two for only Php850. You can bring along your husband, boyfriend, mom, sister, or good friend. It’s a great way to relax and spend quality time with one another.
Now that I know Nail&Co is literally just a minute away from where I work, it’s the perfect nail spa in BGC for me to visit and get my dose of pampering sessions. I’ll be sure to visit them again this February while “Perfect Match” is still available.
