My First Ventosa Experience with Footzone Day Spa
If you guys can recall, I went and visited Footzone Day Spa early this year to try out their services along with my mom and cousin. And as someone who constantly indulges herself in the best massages in the Metro, it was so easy to say that Footzone Day Spa’s services are worth what you’re paying for because they have a team of well-trained therapists who know just how to work on those knots on your back and shoulders, and get you to relax and quit thinking about the daily hassles of life.
From the outside, it may not look as fancy as one would expect a luxury spa to look like but as soon as you enter, it’ll remind you of an oriental-themed boutique hotel—with hallways that lead to different rooms.
A couple of weeks ago, my mom and I were treated to massages once again, as we were led to one of the VIP rooms with three electronic massage beds that could be adjusted by a remote control. Their beds are huge, and with the way they make you dress in gold clothing, you’ll definitely feel like a pampered queen.
For the first time, I was able to try ventosa on my feet, and it felt fantastic. The whole massage actually left me feeling lighter than usual, especially because I was having a difficult and stressful week at work. It was nice to be able to get some peace and quiet, and not have to think about anything for a couple of hours.
I really love how Footzone’s staff does their massages—it’s different from spas I’ve tried in Makati and BGC. They really have a way of helping you get rid of all the negative energy in your body—flushing out the toxins to make you feel rejuvenated again.
Another thing I love about this spa? The uniqueness of their tea! It’s a mix of something sweet, with a bit of corn aftertaste. It may sound a little strange but trust me, even my mom couldn’t get enough of it.
