Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink Unnude Swatches

Not long ago, I wrote a review on the infamous Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink lippies, which is the brand’s longest-lasting liquid lipstick to date. One of the things I mentioned in that review is that I wish they came out with more colors—especially wearable, nude ones that are appropriate for the office. As if the lipstick gods heard my prayer, the brand did release what they call the Unnudes—ten new shades that are a mix of wearable nudes and shockingly beautiful purples that remind me so much of Greta’s Junkyard’s color palette! Hahaha.

I knew I had to swatch them right away on my arm, so check out the photo below.

Maybelline sent over all ten shades a few weeks ago, but it was only this weekend that I realized one of them (Amazonian) was a lemon or a factory defect (meaning the packaging was empty!), so I didn’t get to swatch it along with the others. Huhu! But just to give you guys an idea, the shade is in between Seductress and Fighter, and is a little bit more on the orange pink side (based on the packaging).

Obviously, the colors are hypnotizing. And don’t get me started on Visionary and Philosopher—I’m so tempted to just keep calling those the Greta’s Junkyard shades. Haha!
