Maternity Dresses I Love Wearing While Pregnant
Since I’m nearing the end of my first pregnancy, I decided to compile some of my favorite casual maternity dresses that I loved to wear whenever I had an appointment with my doctor! Most of these dresses are actually normal dresses I own but were all able to accommodate my growing belly. So what’s nice about it is that even after I give birth, I can still wear them! Casual Maternity Dresses I Love Wearing
1. Kasia Textured Tiered Midi Dress (P2,080) from Love, Bonito
First on the list is Love, Bonito’s Kasia Textured Tiered Midi Dress. I was able to wear this dress up until I was maybe 5 or 6 months pregnant. I’ve always loved timeless-looking white dresses, and this is definitely one of them.
2. Melissa Sleeveless Roundneck Bamboo Nightgown (P950) from Linen and Homes
Though marketed as a nightgown, I often wore Linen and Homes’ Melissa Sleeveless Roundneck Bamboo Dress as a pambahay dress. It’s so comfortable and presko—especially on a hot and humid day. 3. Cheap Casual Maternity Dress (P150) from Shopee
I bought this cheap dress from Shopee for the purpose of taking pictures with my baby bump! Haha. For only P150, this is something I can probably wear again after I give birth.
4. Sadie Top (P650) from Everyday Casuals
Though not exactly a dress, this Sadie Top has been my go-to for countless Zoom meetings and virtual events since 2020. I first wore it during one of my bridal showers before getting married. Because of the top’s stretchable material, I was able to wear it up until I was 7 months pregnant!
5. Cotton Dress (P990) from Uniqlo
Uniqlo has always been my go-to clothing store ever since. In fact, my siblings and cousins would joke that 90% of my clothes are from Uniqlo—which is probably true. I love that all of their comfortable cotton dresses in my closet still fit me even at 9 months!
6. Mango 100% Cotton Midi Dress in Orange and in Black (P2,295) from ZALORA
Again, these aren’t maternity dresses. But the style was able to accommodate my growing belly! The material is so comfortable and I love how chic it looks. It’s very flattering even on preggies like me! I was able to wear the black one during the recent intimate event of Modern Parenting.
7. Mango Frill Cotton Dress (P995) from ZALORA
Another Mango dress I fell in love with that isn’t a maternity dress but still fits me anyway! I bought this specifically for my cozy maternity shoot at home. And because I loved the style and fit so much, I also got one in yellow and one in white.
