Mary Kay Naturally: My First Impressions on Their New Skincare Line
Recently, I collaborated with Mary Kay Philippines and got to know more about their newest skincare line: Naturally. It came with four unique products, which I was able to try in my first impressions video below. Mary Kay Naturally is the brand’s first natural-certified skincare line to suit even the most sensitive skin. It’s so versatile, you can mix together products to cater to your skin’s needs.
Purifying Cleanser
Unlike the usual cleanser, the Purifying Cleanser is applied with a cotton pad to deeply cleanse the skin of dirt and impurities. It’s formulated with cornflower floral water, glycerin, sweet almond oil, and Vitamin E to fight free radicals, moisturize skin, and protect it from environmental aggressors. The cleanser looked and felt like lotion at first but I really enjoyed its subtle scent. You can use it alone or mix with the Exfoliating Powder to exfoliate your skin once or twice a week!
Exfoliating Powder
I mentioned in the video that the Exfoliating Powder was the most interesting product in their lineup. You can mix it together with the Purifying Cleanser to create an exfoliating facial wash or with the Nourishing Oil to help achieve soft and smooth skin. It’s made with baking soda, citric acid, hydrogenated castor oil, and rice starch to soothe skin and promote skin cell turnover.
Nourishing Oil
Of the four products, the Nourishing Oil’s scent is my favorite. It’s rich in olive oil, sesame oil, squalene, sweet almond oil, and Vitamin E to moisturize the skin, protect its natural lipid barrier, minimize moisture loss, and prevent skin damage. The Nourishing Oil is very versatile as well. Use it as a serum for the face, hair, and nails to give them extra luster.
Moisturizing Stick
If you find yourself with dry skin in the middle of the day, the Moisturizing Stick is a great way to give your skin a boost of moisture. It can easily fit a small bag and is a great alternative for adding subtle highlights to the face. (Watch my video to see how I used it as a highlighter!) It’s a great way to keep hands moisturized throughout the day as well.
