Manila’s world-renowed Thai restaurant, Mango Tree, celebrated their fruitful first anniversary last March, which is why from March 23 to April 30, Mango Tree Bonifacio High Street and Mango Tree Bistro in TriNoma and Greenbelt 5 released a number of emphasized food items to present to their loyal customers.

The highlighted dishes include Talay Ruam Mit, a hot seafood platter boasting grilled prawns, grilled squid, grilled crab, and a trio of sauces, Phad Thai Jay, Thai stir-fried rice noodles with mixed vegetables and tofu, Gai Phed Med Ma-maung, stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts, capsicum and onion, Yum Mamuang, green mango salad with peanuts and grated coconut, andSpaghetti Salmon, stir-fried spaghetti with salmon and sweet basil.

Project: Brave Kids was established by Paul and Sigrid Perez, parents to Seve, who suffers from acute lymphocytic leukemia. Despite the trials, Seve remains to be a cheerful, playful, active and very inquisitive boy who shows tremendous courage. And it is this spirit that inspires them to help hundreds of other children battling cancer and whose families are having a difficult time financially.
Part of Mango Tree’s proceeds from the food highlight will go directly to Project: Brave Kids, in support of all their projects lined up for 2013.
