Lausanne at Crosswinds Tagaytay: Invest in Your Dream Vacation Home
If there’s one thing that the pandemic made us realize, it’s how important sunlight and fresh air are. Metro Manila residents, especially condo dwellers, even resorted to filling up their spaces with indoor plants to get a feel of the outside world. When my husband and I still lived in a studio unit in Makati during the beginning of the pandemic, I was one of those who became a plantita. I tried to fill our small condo with little plants to remind me of nature. Thankfully, at the beginning of 2021, we were able to move into our forever home, which is located inside a quiet village full of lush trees. This made me appreciate nature even more. Crosswinds Tagaytay
Being cooped up at home is also why more and more parents are considering investing in a dream vacation house. This way, they can get away with their children anytime to bond and experience nature. If you’re looking at vacation homes near Metro Manila, why not check out Lausanne at Crosswinds?
Why Invest in Tagaytay
Tagaytay has always been one of the most accessible places from Metro Manila. Travel time to Crosswinds Tagaytay only takes about an hour and a half. Moreover, you have so many highway options to choose from to avoid traffic. There’s South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX), and Governor’s Drive to Pala Pala. Additionally, Tagaytay is one of the best travel destinations in the country with its sites and cool weather. Families can bond, relax, and rejuvenate amidst nature and fresh air.
Plus, there are so many things to do thanks to all the tourist destinations! You can visit Taal Lake, Palace in the Sky, People’s Park, and esteemed restaurants such as Antonio’s, Josephine’s, Sonya’s Garden, and more. Before the pandemic, my then-boyfriend-now-husband and I used to drive to Tagaytay all the time to have lunch dates at Sonya’s Garden. It was definitely one of our favorite restaurants to visit. We’ve attended so many beautiful weddings in Tagaytay as well. It’s truly a crowd-favorite place among us Filipinos.
Known as a vacation destination, Tagaytay has recently seen a boom in upscale developments such as Crosswinds.
Crosswinds Tagaytay: The Country’s Only Pine Estate
Crosswinds Tagaytay is a 100-hectare Swiss-inspired community that was master-planned by RTKL. If you’re not familiar, RTKL is one of the largest architectural firms in the world! The area also boasts over 35,000 pine trees that lend their invigorating scent to the cool air that envelops the entire development. It’s full of quaint chalets that offer a first-class experience. Imagine being able to bring your kids here every weekend where they can run around and not feel like a caged bird. Studies show that kids who experience the outside world are more likely to develop faster!
It’s no doubt a sanctuary that’s only 80 kilometers away from Manila. It’s also about 7 minutes away from the famous Tagaytay Rotunda where most establishments, restaurants, and activity areas are located. Because of its charm and prime location, properties in Crosswinds Tagaytay have become very high in demand. So many couples are investing either to build their dream vacation home or make it their retirement home. Therefore, to cater to the demand, another property beside the estate is being developed—Lausanne at Crosswinds.
The Beauty of Lausanne at Crosswinds
Lausanne at Crosswinds is a 24-hectare area that features a breathtaking panorama of Tagaytay’s lush hills, the calmness of Laguna Bay, and even the Metro skyline. I’ve seen some of the plans and it’s definitely very exciting. There will be colorful flower farms, vineyards, and even a beautiful chapel. Couples about to get married can have their ceremony there! Moreover, Lausanne at Crosswinds has restaurants such as Napa, Ruined Project, and Cafe Voi La.
Napa at Crosswinds is a place where you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee. The rustic vibe of the cafe makes me want to wear my favorite sweater and indulge in a cup of coffee with my husband! Meanwhile, Ruined Project is another coffee shop where you can relax and find comfort. They have both indoor and alfresco dining for families who wish to enjoy their delicious food. Lastly, Cafe Voi La is an Asian-style cafe showered with love. They offer home-cooked cuisine in the midst of pine trees! Parents and kids will surely love eating here.
