I Used L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise While Playing Ultimate Frisbee!

A while back, I wrote a review on L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise Mascara, which has easily become my new holy grail, and has bumped off Maybeline’s HyperCurl to Number 3, and Pixi Beauty’s Lash Booster Mascara to Number 2. But I think after what happened to me last night, it’s safe to say that it skyrocketed into a whole new level of favorite.

The next photos aren’t the best selfies but the hype is real!!! 😱😍 I attended the #PlainsAndPrintsXMarkBumgarner event yesterday and put on a full-faced makeup look, despite knowing that I was playing Ultimate later that night. I used L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise Mascara and applied it around lunch time. The day went by, I attended the event, and then at around 8pm, I took a photo of my lashes before playing. We were only three girls on the field, so we all hardly subbed out, and I was sweating to the max but swipe left! ✨ After two hours of profuse sweating and wiping my face with the sleeve or collar of my jersey (HAHA. Skincare nightmare I know, but I can’t help it), my mascara was intact with zero panda eyes!!! Curl wasn’t as lifted compared to when I first applied it, but easily forgivable because again, NO PANDA EYES. Amazing!!! If you’re worried about how to remove it, it’s super easy as well. I just use Banila Co.’s Clean It Zero or Biore’s Oil Cleanser. 😊 L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise Mascara is so worth the hype!!! And for only P500! So as mentioned, I applied the mascara around lunch time, and it looked like this:

You can see that the mascara gives the right amount of both volume and curl, which really complements my lashes, because they’re long, but naturally straight. So what I do is with a good eyelash curler (nothing beats Shu Uemura’s eyelash curler for me), I curl my lashes in three sections—the base (as close to my lids as possible), the middle, and the tip—this way, it makes a perfect curl and doesn’t get that weird L-shape. I also tend to hold each section for about 10 seconds, just to ensure the curl stays. After curling, I take the mascara wand and blot the excess on tissue paper—then I wiggle the wand starting at the base of my lashes before moving up towards the tips.

Even as I got home after playing, at around 11pm, my lashes were still fabulous. I raved about it immediately on Facebook, and my cousin (who works out a lot) messaged me and told me she uses the same mascara to the gym, yet it never budges either.
