I Love my New Bag from Rootote PH!

I first heard about Rootote from Spot.ph, who wrote about them late last year. Founded in Japan (a country that values minimalism), the brand is known for their simple-looking yet multi-use tote bags and backpacks that come in the cutest colors—like this dusty lilac one, which is incidentally the color theme of my wedding!

It’s water-repellent, and I love that I can use it in different ways—like a tote, or my preferred style, the backpack. I brought it with me to the Calyxta office, and my colleagues were quick to model it around. This particular design, the Rootote Ceoroo V2 Medium 2-Way Tote Backpack retails for only PhP 2,695 and it’s perfect for everyday use or even for traveling. I plan to use it as my airplane bag for this long weekend, since I’ll be flying out to attend a wedding in Boracay. It’s big enough to fit my essentials—like my wallet, earphones, phones, power bank, chargers, Kindle, and lip balm.
