FOREO LUNA 3 Facial Cleansing and Firming Massager Review

When I first posted about the FOREO LUNA 3 on Instagram a couple of months ago, a lot of people messaged and asked me to review the product. It took me a while, mainly because of the wedding and mini-moon, but I’m so thrilled to finally be sharing my thoughts on this futuristic, app-powered beauty device!

 

Who is FOREO?

For those who have only heard about FOREO just now, they’re a Swedish beauty brand that started back in 2013. Since then, they’ve grown from just two employees in their headquarters to over 3,000 around the world, and have shipped more than 20 million products worldwide!

What is FOREO LUNA 3?

One of the brand’s claims to fame is the FOREO LUNA 3—a facial cleansing and firming massager. Featuring soft silicone touch points and T-Sonic technology, this device lifts away dirt, oil, and excess sebum with a 1-minute cleansing routine, while a targeted firming facial massage leaves skin smoother and younger-looking. It comes in three variants—lilac for sensitive skin, pink for normal skin, and blue for combination skin.

It’s definitely a unique device that offers:

1. unparalleled facial cleansing with its T-Sonic pulsations at 16 different intensities to provide a deep yet gentle cleanse
2. a targeted firming facial massage to rejuvenate the skin’s appearance and enhance absorption of serums and essences
3. a smarter skincare approach by having lightweight brush heads tailor-made for different skin types, and can further be personalized through the FOREO app by selecting pulsation intensity controls and targeted firming massage routines

Each device comes in a premium box that contains a travel pouch for convenient storage, a USB charging cable (one charge provides up to 650 uses!), and a sample serum that you can use as your base for the firming massage.

Once you download the app and connect your device via Bluetooth, just follow the instructions to select your cleansing preference and firming massage routine. The targeted firming massage routines include a contour massage, eye massage, neck massage, and mouth and jaw massage—all of which help smoothen the appearance of fine lines, refine the complexion, reveal a youthful glow, and absorb skincare products better.

Using FOREO LUNA 3

I’ve been using my LUNA 3 for more than a week now, and I am so addicted to it. It makes me look forward even more to my evening skincare routine. I use it in two steps—whenever I wash my face and apply my serum. I also use it to massage the area around my eyes—to improve circulation, prevent fine lines, and reduce discoloration.

One immediate result I’ve noticed is how extra soft and smooth my skin feels—especially after cleansing. My skin looks more radiant than usual as well, and I can only attribute it to the LUNA 3. I’m hoping that with constant and consistent use of the firming massage routines, my skin (especially the area around my eyes) will improve drastically!
