I recently ate in their branch in UP Ayala Technohub, where ordering definitely took a while because I didn’t know what to get. Everything looked so delectable, that I wondered if I should order from the Breakfast Combos or the Mains and Pancakes section. Even their drinks had a list of specialties, where I was able to try the Ginger’s Lemonade, Jack and the Beanstalk, andGranny’s Favorite.
Ginger’s Lemonade is a tangy mix of mint, ginger, fresh lemon and Sprite while Jack and the Beanstalk is a healthy concoction of celery, apple and pineapple. I would, however, recommendGranny’s Favorite—a combination of apples, grapes and oranges.
For starters, our group ordered Traditional Buffalo Wings. It was the right kind of spicy—not too zesty and not too bland, and I loved that they served celery sticks with it. A must-try is the Mango Exotica salad, one of the blockbuster favorites, made of fresh lettuce, chicken strips, sweet mangoes and grapes.
For the main course, I was able to enjoy a taste of the Original Hash Brown Burger—a thick burger with the juiciest meat patty, cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, topped off with a crispy hash brown that gives the whole thing a unique taste, and that comes with a side dish of chunky fries. Another main course I liked was the Chicken Stuffed Parmigiana, a flavorful pasta crowned with generous slices of stuffed chicken. The last dish I got to try, which was my order, was the Lemon-Pepper Pan Seared White Fish. The best thing about it is that it’s both mouthwatering and healthy. Put the two together and you’ve got yourself the best combo.

A meal is never complete without dessert, at least for me. With all the enticing sweet treats available, I ended up ordering the Tutti Frutti Crepe. It comes with two choices: mango or banana, and is served with vanilla ice cream. My FlapJacks experience wouldn’t be complete without trying their signature Golden Pancakes, which are both light and fluffy and can come in thin or thick servings, depending on your preference.
