Diamond Peel at Home: Revitalize Microdermabrasion Device

I am incredibly ecstatic to be sharing with you guys the newest technology in exfoliating—Aesthetique Solution‘s patented Revitalize Microdermabrasion Device, which literally gives you a diamond peel at home. Last June 8, fellow blogger, Marj Sia, invited me to its launch at Toyo Eatery where founder, Maiki Oreta, introduced her company and quickly taught us how to use the device.

There are so many reasons to fall in love with it. As you all know, my obsession with skincare is twice my obsession with makeup. I heavily invest in all of my products, and I always believe that the best foundation is good skin. To achieve this, I have a very thorough skincare routine, I drink supplements, and I get a diamond peel treatment once a month (or once every two months). I normally spend Php 500 to Php 800 per session, and if you compute that by 12 months, that’s roughly Php 9,600 a year. If I could have it my way, I’d love to get a diamond peel facial twice a month, but because it’s a little too much on the pockets, I opt to just get it monthly.

But all that is about to change with my newest kit from Aesthetique Solutions, which comes with the device itself, two tips (a Standard Tip and a Fine Tip), the wire and charging station, a cleaning brush, and a bag of filters.

If you buy the kit from Calyxta, BeautyMNL or Zalora for just Php 10,000, it also comes with the Revitalize Cleanser, Cooling Gel, and Sunblock—to cleanse, soothe, and protect skin before and after your treatment. The tips are definitely reusable, but should you want to replace it eventually, you can buy it separately for Php 1,500 each. I actually intend to buy the Body Tip soon, so that I can also use the device on my arms, legs, knees, and elbows.

If there’s one thing I probably need to buy frequently, it would have to be the bag of filters—because you have to throw away the filter after each use. Good thing these are sold for just Php 150 per bag.

The device offers the same benefits as a regular diamond peel treatment from skincare centers, and it wasn’t as intimidating to use as I thought it would be. It comes with a very informative manual on how to use the device, and how to maintain and clean it.

I swear—it’s the best thing ever invented! I already started using it, and I plan to give myself a diamond peel facial every two weeks. This is so that my skin is properly exfoliated, therefore making it absorb my skincare products better.
