Dare to Go Print
One of the many trends that plagued the spring/summer 2012 runway is the shapeless dress, and how these lovely formless frocks give a light, airy volume that definitely highlight the warm season. They can be a resort uniform and are unquestionably perfect for vacation. Try imagining yourself lounging by the beach or on a yacht, complete with the sunglasses and a bikini underneath.
This petite Fashionista was seen in a strappy shapeless dress that fell just above her knees, with eye-catching, quirky prints — another trend seen on the runway. Pairing the strong design of her dress with nude ballet flats and a very simple necklace establishes that this Fashionista knew what she was doing, balancing the look so as not to appear excessive or shoddy. The dress also complemented her fair complexion, giving her a very enthralling aura.
Printed tops and frocks are the perfect way to stand out amongst the crowd — the quirkier they are, the better. With the vast number of prints available this spring/summer, such as tapestry, brocades, animal, patchwork, and geometric designs, there shouldn’t be a problem in trying on a few and daring to go print.
