‘Cue Modern Barbecue Celebrates Their 2nd Anniversary

Last May 7, ‘Cue Modern Barbecue in Bonifacio High Street Central celebrated a milestone as their restaurant turned two years old. All of the dishes on their menu (save for the beverages) were 50% off the entire day!

The Cupcake and I had late dinner here and ordered a staple: Campfire-Style Skillet of Queso Fundido. I wasn’t even that hungry, but one look at the Angus Beef Belly and I knew I had to order it. I even ordered Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes to complement the scrumptious-looking dish.

When our orders arrived, they didn’t disappoint at all. The Angus Beef Belly was so tender, the steak knife that accompanied it was rendered useless. Dark ale and topped with a crust of light mustard, the savory flavor just bursts in your mouth as you chew on the softness of the beef. I was so happy with my Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes as well, because it was honestly one of the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever tasted! It was the perfect combination of rich, creamy, and chunky—exactly like how all mashed potatoes should be.

This has only been my third visit to ‘Cue Modern Barbecue. The two other times, I had the usual Campfire-Style Skillet of Queso Fundido along with cocktail drinks. But looking at the rest of their menu, I can’t wait to go back and try the Bacon, Mac, and Cheese.
