Corned Beef with a Tomato Kick by Filippo Berio
I don’t talk about it as often, but I actually really enjoy cooking. There’s something so exciting about putting together a dish—sometimes, I even invent my own recipes! (Though I’ve had my fair share of failed moments, which my siblings can attest to. Hahaha!)
When I’m hungry and I want something quick and convenient to eat, I normally just take out a can of corned beef. But sometimes, I like adding a twist to it! Below is my recipe for what I like to call Corned Beef with a Tomato Kick, using Filippo Berio’s Olive Oil, garlic, a can of corned beef, butter, Filippo Berio’s Tomato Pesto, and pepper.
First, take a pan and put a bit of Filippo Berio’s Olive Oil. Let it heat a bit, before adding the garlic and sautéing it until it turns a golden brown.
Add the corned beef and let it simmer a bit, then mix in a slice of butter.
Once the butter melts, add a tablespoon of tomato pesto and a dash of pepper.
Cook everything for a couple of minutes, and voila! You’ve got yourself a dish that you can either eat alone (which I prefer), with rice, or with bread.
What other dishes have you guys tried cooking with Filippo Berio’s Olive Oil?
