Classic Black
There’s something about wearing black that gives off such a classic vibe. Perhaps it stems from Audrey Hepburn’s fashion in Breakfast at Tiffany’s that remains timeless — in fact, her style will always be one of my favorites. When going to fancy events, you can never go wrong with donning a little black dress with a set of pearls and a pair of high heels. And why can’t you apply the same classic look when going to school?
That’s exactly why this ensemble turned my head — black lace top, black leggings, and a pair of black flats, not to mention the Fashionista’s straight, black hair. The look is so modest, yet the all-black get up makes the chicness pop out. It’s the perfect Friday outfit where after class you can effortlessly throw on some accessories, like dangling gold earrings, bangles, or a bib necklace, replace the flats with wedges or heels, tie your hair in a high ponytail to bring out your cheekbones, dab on some lip gloss and go straight to a night out with friends!
There’s really so much you can do with the simplicity of black: wear it fancy or play it down, it’s a color you can always count on. No matter what the trend is, black just never gets old.
