The first time I watched a Cirque du Soleil show was five or six years ago, when they brought Varekai to Manila. It was genuinely one of the most breathtaking shows I had ever seen, and I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time.
The second was KÁ in Las Vegas last month and again, an incredibly amazing show that I was glad to have experienced with my childhood friends. I can’t even put to words how spectacular the show was, and how the stage was literally brought to life while the performers dangled from the ceiling.
Next month, I’ll be watching my third show, TORUK: The First Flight (inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar), which is showing from June 23 to July 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Believe me when I say that Cirque shows are a one-of-kind spectacle, so I’m inviting you all to catch the show while they’re here! Tickets are on sale at www.smtickets.com and www.cirquedusoleil.com/toruk.
