Burger Places in Quezon City: Size Matters Flame-Grilled Sausage Burgers
Although there are many popular burger places in Quezon City, Size Matters isn’t just your ordinary burger joint. Located on the fourth floor of The Block in SM North EDSA, it’s a tiny space big enough to seat twenty people.
But just as the name suggests, size really matters in Size Matters—and this was evident in the first thing they served, which was the gigantic Iced Tea big enough for two.
Pretty (and fellow beauty enthusiast!) store owner, Diane Uy, shared that the branch recently opened last October 2013. Although they specialize in Flame-Grilled Sausage Burgers, some of their best-sellers include the Chili Cheese Fries (Php 219), Southwestern BBQ Rubbed Chicken Fillet (Php 280), and the Works Burger (Php 299). Aside from these three huge orders, the Cupcake and I also got to try the Cheese Steak Sandwich (Php 219).

I was only able to take a few bites of the Chili Cheese Fries to save space for the rest of the orders. But it’s the kind of appetizer that won’t make you realize how much you’ve eaten because it’s that good. You just keep on getting and getting. It’s perfect to share with friends, paired up with their local beers.
The Southwestern BBQ Rubbed Chicken Fillet was something that the Cupcake and I playfully fought over—the chicken skin was just so good, and it went really well with the southwestern sauce. Too bad the corn and rice were ignored, because all attention was on the juicy chicken.
The Cheese Steak Sandwich is perfect for cheesy people. I mean, cheese lovers. Like me! The whole bun oozes with cheese. At one point, I was just picking on the cheese with my fork and eating it with the beef. The soft bun would have left me too full.
Which is okay, because what I really wanted to try the most was the Works Burger—thick beef patty, american cheddar, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms and…bacon.
Because of the size, I had to cut the burger in half. I tried eating it like I would a sandwich, but the thickness of the burger makes it challenging. It was a good problem to have.
