The generous and creative team behind L’Oreal Paris Philippines threw the most exciting event last week, to highlight their newest powder foundation, Mat Magique, as beauty editors and bloggers gathered together in Sarah Black Photography Studio to get a makeover and have their photos taken by none other than BJ Pascual.
It was definitely an event to remember, and I really loved what Gex Garcia, L’Oreal Paris Philippines Senior Makeup Artist, did with my makeup. It was a soft smokey look, which she paired with neutral pink lips. Of course, for my foundation, she used the True Match Super-Blendable Foundation in Nude Beige and set it with the Mat Magique Transforming Powder in Golden Ivory. The results were amazing! When my parents picked me up from the event that afternoon, my mom absolutely loved my makeup!
I had so much fun doing the shoot, too. Although I was very quiet and (socially) awkward, BJ gave directions really well and he knew my best angles. I got comfortable in front of his camera easily.
Right after my makeover and photo shoot, I had a wonderful chance of checking out the L’Oreal Paris Makeup Bar and was told I could pick up to four items! Imagine being told that you could basically go shopping for free! I was given the Mat Magique Powder in Golden Ivory, and I chose the True Match Super-Blendable Foundation in Nude Beige, True Match Blush in Pink Marshmallow, and Color Riche Lipstick in Dewy Beige—all of which I look forward to using! (I already tried the Color Riche Lipstick and I’ll be writing a review very soon!)
I’m so happy with how my photo turned out. They gave each of us a printed copy then and there, which my mom pinned on our refrigerator. Hahaha! I wore my makeup the whole day that day, and it truly impressed me how I didn’t need to use an oil blotter. I stayed shine-free until it was time to wash my face.
Get your own Mat Magique Powder and choose from the variety of shades to suit your skin tone! Because it’s only Php 499, it’s affordable to buy more than one shade!
