After Two Weeks with Lunchbox Diet PH’s Low Carb Meal Plan
Last month, I wrote an article on #ProjectBringBackTheAbs and started a Low Carb Meal Program with Lunchbox Diet PH. As mentioned then, I had a short-term goal of losing all the weight I gained from my extended vacation in the States and a long-term goal of easing myself back into healthier eating habits.
I just wanted to share all the things that have happened since I finished my program, because the results are well worth it!
First of all, being on a low carb meal plan really did help in losing the stubborn pouch on my lower abdomen. The abs aren’t fully seen yet, because I feel like it will take more than two weeks to get them back (as long as I’m consistent with my eating habits and workouts) but I’m more confident again to wear tight skirts and shirts—a far cry from that time I just got back and kept wearing loose outfits.
Being on Lunchbox Diet PH’s Low Carb Meal Program also inspired me to maintain a low carb diet and to refrain from eating too much sweets (which is hard if you have an insatiable sweet tooth like me). I haven’t been eating rice since the program ended, and I also lessened my intake of pasta and other carbohydrates. I usually eat wheat bread or overnight oats for breakfast, white meat and fruits for lunch, and salad for dinner. I play it up a bit, but thanks to Lunchbox Diet, I have an idea of how much to eat per meal.
I don’t know why, but there was just something so fun about being on Lunchbox Diet’s Low Carb Meal Program and I found myself always looking forward to my next meal. I was actually a little sad when it ended, but at the same time, it rekindled my interest in preparing my meals again to make sure that I was being consistent with my eating habits.
It was definitely a good experience, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to lose weight, looking to start and maintain a healthier lifestyle through proper diet, or has no time to prepare his or her meals.
