A Review on POP Beauty’s Plump Pout
Among all the POP Beauty products I was introduced to, the Plump Pout was the one that stood out to me the most because of its incredibly cute packaging. If you read the product description, it’s a plumping pout perfector that combines the high-shine of a lacquered lip gloss and the long wear of a stain. It’s also packed with lip-plumping peptides, avocado, and jojoba oils.

I’m not used to wearing lip gloss (unlike in high school), but because I was so intrigued by the product, I decided to try it out.
POP Beauty’s Plump Pout comes in four shades: Honey Rose, Fuchsia Freesia, Peony Petal, and Bare Nectar. I tried swatching all four, but my favorite shades would have to be Honey Rose and Peony Petal because they’re both something you can wear everyday, and can match with almost any makeup look.
I honestly thought the plumping effect was just a marketing ploy to sell the product, but I was so surprised that it really beefs up your lips! In fact, my lips may have looked too plump after a few minutes of wearing it.
You can see the upper part of my lip getting red! Haha!
I have a feeling though that this is because I have sensitive skin, and I peel my lips a lot so the product may have caused my wounds to flare up a little. It didn’t hurt or have a stinging sensation though. It just felt slightly tingly. Even after wiping it off, the color still stayed and my lips looked as full as ever!
Wasn’t even trying to do the duck face but my lips speak otherwise.
On my lips: Plump Pout in Honey Rose
POP Beauty’s Plump Pout is Php 790—a little more expensive than your usual drugstore brands, but I think it’s a fair price considering what it can do to make your lips look extra luscious. I wouldn’t use it for everyday wear, but I think it’s a perfect product to use on special occasions, just to add that oomph to your look.
POP Beauty is available in Glamourbox Landmark Trinoma, all Purebeauty branches, select Snoe stores, Common Thread, and Plana Forma in Metro Manila. For those of you in Davao area, you can get it at SunLab and Martish.
