One of the things I really wanted for my birthday last March was NARS Cosmetics’ Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard, which I discovered from Pinkoolaid, and who let me try hers a few times in the office. Since then, I was hooked and I badly wanted to get one for myself!
Unfortunately, it was always sold out at BeautyMNL and I never had the time to go to Rustan’s and buy one. Then during my birthday party at Sunrise Buckets, Pinkoolaid surprised me and gave one as a gift! I was so ecstatic, I almost cried tears of joy!
I know it sounds weird to be going all crazy over a tube of concealer, but this holy grail product is every busy woman’s way of saying goodbye to eye bags and hello to brighter, less tired-looking eyes.
Having a demanding day job, then using my time at night to catch up on the blog’s backlogs has caused my eye bags to become worse and sometimes, I get conscious about them. I’ve tried a number of concealers but I was never happy with the results, because they always ended up looking too yellow/orange or cakey.
But NARS Cosmetics’ Radiant Creamy Concealer is magic in a tube! You only need little to cover a lot, and it stays on the whole day without caking.
In this photo, I only concealed my right eye
What I normally do when I apply it is dab little dots on my under eye area, then blend it gently with a Beauty Blender. If I don’t have my Beauty Blender with me, I just use my ring fingers.
If I know I’m going to be out all day, I sometimes set it with Ofra’s Translucent Highlighting Luxury Powder or L’Oreal’s Mat Magique Foundation Powder in G2.
And that’s how I effectively cover up my eye bags! Of course, I finish off my look with bold brows and nude or neutral lips.
Excuse my reddish face. It was scorching hot outside while I was taking photos. Haha!
NARS’ Radiant Creamy Concealer is available in Rustan’s Shangri-La Mall, Rustan’s Department Store in Ayala Center, Rustan’s Alabang Town Center, and www.beautymnl.com for Php 1,550.
