If you read my blog often or follow me on Instagram (@gretchengatan), you’ll notice that I’m such an avid fan of K-Palette. I love using their Lasting 2Way Eyebrow Pencil and Real Lasting Eyeliner in most of my looks. I remember that fateful day I discovered them two years ago in Beauty Bar Eastwood, and since then I’ve been hooked. During my recent trip to Japan, I even hoarded their eyebrow pencils and eyeliners when I found them in Don Quijote (and gave it as pasalubong to everyone just because I wanted to spread my love for the brand).
So anyway, now that we’ve established how much I’m a fan girl of K-Palette, you can’t imagine my excitement when they sent over four shades of their newest product: Essence in Shadowliner, which is an eye shadow and eyeliner in one!
It’s available in four basic colors, so if you’re in a hurry to do your makeup or have little space in your bag, all you need is this pencil to glam up your look. I recently tried Shade 01 (black eyeliner and brown eye shadow combo), which is great in giving my hooded eyes definition. I simply used the eye shadow all over my lid, blended the color with my ring finger, and finished it off with a quick cat-eye.
It’s super perfect for girls who are just starting out with makeup or who are too lazy to do their makeup in the morning (like me).
Was in a hurry, so my cat-eye isn’t perfect. Hihi.
The Shadowliner in Shade 01 was also something I used to create a fall/winter look yesterday—after creating a soft smokey eye, I added more definition by lining my lids with the eyeliner and using the eye shadow side to build the smokey eye on my lower rim.
I really like the pigmentation of the product. You can even mix and match colors—I plan to use the pink shade as my base eye shadow next time and maybe Shade 01 to contour my lids!
K-Palette’s 1Day Tattoo Essence in Shadowliner is available in Beauty Bar for Php 950.
