A Review on K-Palette: 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner and Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liner
These past couple of months, I’ve been on a hunt for the perfect liquid eyeliner because the current one I’m using, Bloom Cosmetics’ Jetblack Liquid Eyeliner, (which you can get from Beauty Bar for Php 650) is about to run out. I’ve been using Bloom’s eyeliner since high school (or more specifically—since I watched Devil Wears Prada for the first time and fell in love with Anne Hathaway’s makeup). But because I’ve been a lot more experimental with brands lately (this is of course, thanks to Glamourbox and the influence of Lia), I decided to research on other eyeliners.
I came across an online publication (I forgot which one) that talked about the best liquid eyeliners, and there I read about K-Palette’s 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner. I was attracted to its pen-like shape, which automatically gave me the impression that it was a lot easier to use.
Last Sunday right before watching Thor: The Dark World with my family in Eastwood Mall, I went to Beauty Bar out of impulse and saw the array of K-Palette products. I was originally just going to buy the 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner but I ended up buying even the Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liner in Chocolate Brown which comes in both a powder and liquid tip.
Just as I predicted, both are really easy to use! It’s perfect for beginners or those practicing different looks. And I love, love, love it! I’m still so happy about my purchases.
If you read my past entry on the Lazy Girl’s Guide to Makeup Must-Haves (where I use The Face Shop’s Face It Designing Cake Eyebrow to fill in my brows), K-Palette’s 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner and Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liner Liquid + Powder should be in the Lazier Girl’s Guide to Makeup Must-Haves.
A Review on K-Palette: 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner and Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liner
So in testing the two, I tried doing a simple look. After applying Porefessional by Benefit and Maybelline’s Mineral Foundation, I started filling in my brows using the powder tip. I like the effect of powder most (compared to pencils and gels) because the look is more natural and not as harsh.
Whenever I fill in my brows, I always start with the thinner tip and work my way up to the thicker end. This gives me an easier time adjusting the shade. This is also to avoid having harsh-looking eyebrows. The Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liner Liquid is amazing because you have full control, and it’s easy to switch from the powder tip to the liquid tip. It was my first time using a liquid liner for my brows, but I discovered that it also gives off a nice effect and it was very convenient in filling out parts that were lighter than others. I also used the liquid tip to kind of shape the thicker end of my brows.
Using the 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner was just as easy! (Even easier than using Bloom’s, I’ll admit.) I did it in just one swipe, and that was it. The liquid liner dries in just seconds. You can also control the thickness of the line. Since I was going for a natural look, I just drew a thin line.
I finished it off by curling my lashes and applying Maybelline’s The Rocket mascara, then dabbing on a little blush and lip gloss.
K-Palette’s 1 Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner and Lasting 2 Way Eyebrow Liner is available in all Beauty Bar branches for Php 750 and Php 1,050 (but I got it at a discounted price!) respectively. You can also visit their online shop at http://shop.beautybar.com.ph. These double trouble K-Palette products never left my bag since I bought them over the weekend!
