A Review on CarmenClaire’s BeautyUK Ultimate Contour Palette
Early last year, I wrote a review on CarmenClaire’s Covert Operations Concealer, which was well-liked in our home and was used a lot not just by me, but even by my sister and cousin.
This year, after visiting the Rockwell Holiday Gift Fair, my good friend, Carmen, gave me another exciting product to road test—BeautyUK’s Ultimate Contour Palette, which is a 3-shade cream-to-powder contouring, bronzing and highlighting palette that’s perfect for basic contouring!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll notice that most of my FOTD’s consist of just contour powders (specifically Pixi’s Natural Contour Powder). The reason is because I have oily skin and creams tend to melt off my face after a few hours despite setting them with powder. But the beauty of BeautyUK’s Ultimate Contour Palette is that it has a powdery finish that works well with my skin type.
I also like that the contouring shade fits my skin tone. Some contouring palettes have an orange undertone that doesn’t look great on me, but the Ultimate Contour Palette has a universally flattering shade that I’m sure will fit most Filipina skin tones.
I’ve used it a few times to contour my forehead and nose, and to give more definition to my cheekbones. It’s really easy to blend, whether you use a brush or a Beauty Blender! You can even use your fingers (if you find it easier to control).
Here’s a sequence of photos beginning with a fresh face, before contouring my nose, cheeks, and forehead.
The best part about this palette is it’s incredibly affordable! You can get it at www.carmenclaire.com for just Php 395. You can also catch CarmenClaire at different bazaars. Be sure to check their website and follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for updates!

Hi, Gail! At the moment, they only have an online shop but they participate in bazaars once in a while. 🙂 Will try to do a contouring tutorial soon! And thanks so much! 🙂
