A Review on Burt’s Bees Philippines Radiance Day and Night Creams
Another review on Burt’s Bees! (You can check out my Lippy Review here, and my review on their Sensitive Eye Cream here.) This time, it’s about Burt’s Bees Philippines Radiance Day and Night Creams, which I absolutely love! It’s actually my favorite out of all the goodies that were given to me.
So before the Radiance Day and Night Creams, I was using Avon’s Anew Vitale. But upon trying Burt’s Bees, I was amazed because of how dewy and fresh the creams made my skin appear a couple of weeks after. Although it smells odd, I’m actually quite fond of the scent (it has a subtle smell of beeswax).
The Radiance Night Cream (Php 1,450) has a thicker consistency compared to the Radiance Day Cream (Php 1,450). It strangely reminds me of cream cheese. Since it’s thicker, it’s also a little bit stickier. But the skin absorbs it fast, and you get this matte feel later on. So it’s perfect for those with oily/combination skin like me. It’s a powerful moisturizer that contains Royal Jelly, which enhances the skin’s radiance and helps get rid of the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Since I started using it three months ago, I feel like even my pores were minimized.
The Radiance Day Cream is super light on the skin, and gets absorbed quick. It works great under makeup as well. Like the Radiance Night Cream, it’s also infused with Royal Jelly so it’s great for waking up dull skin. The only downside is that it doesn’t seem to contain SPF. So after applying the Radiance Day Cream, I still need to apply sunblock. However, like I said, it works wonders on my skin so I don’t mind it at all.
